Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette
- Provide information to callers or route calls to appropriate individuals
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role preferred
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with medical office procedures is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
