Simply Me Skin Care & Med Spa is an extremely fast-growing privately-owned company Established by Ivonne Fiorillo Owner & Lead Esthetician / Acne Specialist her Husband Dominick Fiorillo BSN, R.N. Injector / Acne Specialist on Jan 1st 2020.
We are looking for a Salon Coordinater / Front Desk Receptionist who we think will be a perfect fit for our fast-growing business. As the need of our clients continues to grow so does our staff! We are located in a New Beautiful Building in Down Town Long Beach with a very diverse client base.
We have built a strong client base of over 1,000 clients in our first year and are now looking to grow our family of Salon Coordinators, Estheticians, MA’s & Nurses! This job is an amazing opportunity for those with an open mind and willingness to learn in detail about advanced skin care & Med Spa Treatments as well as How to treat Acne. We carry only the best of equipment and are technology advanced from our Hydrafacial machine to our dictation and charting / note taking and follow up abilities. We expect only the best customer service skills at all times.

What will be expected daily?
You must have Autonomy... This position requires our Staff to be able to work as a team but also without having to count on others to perform your job.
We are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Representative / Salon Coordinator to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the “Face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.
The ideal candidate will have a Upbeat, Friendly, Easy-going personality with EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ETIQUETTE while being very perceptive, Flexible, organized and disciplined. We are a very busy Skin Care / Acne Clinic who's clients range from 16-65. 90% of our clientele are 20-35 years of age. We are located in an fun relaxing and Brand New Salon since we just Expanded!
We run a tight shift that is fun and Drama Free. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in advancing there knowledge in the field of Esthetics especially Acne / Skin Care. We offer Advanced Acne treatments, Can Program's, Hydrafaiclas, Advanced Chemical Peels and Combination Services.
The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Upholds to the Mission and Vison of Simply Me Skin Care while adhering to the companies “High 5 Core Values” (Honest, Inspire, Fun, Beautiful, Respect)
- Opening Tasks / Esthetician Room Prep / Restocking
- Keep front desk clean, tidy and supplied with all the necessary supplies
- Warmly greet clients by name, confirm there bookings, offer refreshments, walk them to the proper Suite/treatment room and inform assigned aestheticians of their arrival
- Offer beverages and chat with clients who are in the waiting area
- Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability
- Update special offers board
- Maintain safe keeping of keys, passwords and cash
- Perform daily cash counts at beginning and end of shift
- Keep common areas and restrooms stocked with supplies clean swept and neat
- Perform closing tasks including turning off lights, prepping workstations for following day, locking doors and properly securing building for the end of the day.
- Inform clients about new services and discounts
- Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative brochures and gift cards).
- Receive and Prepare Linen for Pick up and Drop Off
- Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered
- Answer all the customers' questions and address their complaints
- Answer all incoming calls, book online appointments, redirect them when needed
- Receive letters, packages and send them to appropriate destination
- Prepare and manage outgoing mail
- Check, sort and forward emails
- Make supply orders when needed
