Clinical Nursing Faculty: St. Louis College of Health Careers, Fenton, MO
Part-Time

St. Louis College of Health Careers is currently looking for part-time educators who want to educate and empower students in our Practical Nursing and/or LPN to RN Bridge Program.
Position Details:
- Maintain high energy level and ability to engage students in a clinical setting.
- Responsible for clinical supervision and evaluation of nursing students in fundamentals, adult health, and medication administration while promoting an environment conductive to learning.
- Ensure clinical lessons build upon classroom lessons to enhance educational experience.
- Provide positive and professional guidance to students while working with facility staff.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to encourage effective actions and decisions.
- Conduct formal student performance evaluations.
- Evaluate students' performance, in cooperation with other faculty, to determine their ability to integrate didactic and clinical learning experiences and to progress within the curriculum.
- Maintain student records of attendance and progress of students.
- Provide input into curriculum development, instructional methods, objectives and philosophy.
- Regularly attend faculty meetings, professional development activities and ongoing instructional meetings as required.
- Have experience working with adult patients in long-term care and acute care facilities.
- Comply with college policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- RN (Required)
- MSN or BSN preferred; AAS acceptable for PN Clinical
- Professional nurse licensure required
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
- Previous teaching/training experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Must be fully fluent in Microsoft Office and Epic charting experience
- Experience with Moodle or other LMS preferred.
Must be able to work shift on a Monday or Thursday and Friday 7 am – 3 pm
Position requires transcripts and background screening.
