Boni Bel is looking for additional Country Store Clerks to join the internal Green Chimneys team. The Country Store Clerk performs all retail duties required to maintain the small country store that is open to the public. For employees looking for a second job, this is a great way to give back to Green Chimneys in a completely different way that is, by running and maintaining the Country Store with enthusiasm. This is a per diem (as needed) role and will have busier and slower times depending on the season.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES*:
- Greet customers and provide assistance as needed
- Lead and model selling and customer experience standards
- Display knowledge of products, and recommend products based on customer needs
- Operate cash register and ring up sales
- Receive product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy
- Stock, rotate merchandise, checking dates on grocery items and handle products accordingly
- Assist with merchandise displays and visuals
- Maintain cleanliness in store / farm stand at all times
- Help train other staff / students as needed
- Provide accounting of daily sales
- Help maintain farm produce stand
- Help maintain farm stand and flower garden at the Country store
- Take managerial lead role on Saturdays and any days that the Country Store Manager is not there
- Pick up inventory from local stores
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Education/Experience:
- Some retail experience preferred
- Ability to work with Special Education Students
- Some knowledge of farming / gardening preferred

Licensure/Certification:
Starting salary $15.00 per hour.
This is a per diem (as needed) not benefit eligible role.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
