Join Our Team- Osprey Landscape Group is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Director of Fleet to play a pivotal role in our rapidly expanding operations. - Developing and executing strategies for fleet management and cost reduction.
- Leading negotiations for beneficial contracts and pricing with partners.
- Conducting asset inventory and audits.
- Promoting safe fleet operations.
- Enhancing asset utilization.
- Making informed decisions on renting versus buying assets.
- Driving continuous improvement, process development, and establishing preventative maintenance programs to optimize uptime, extend asset life, and cut costs.
- Supporting due diligence and integration processes for acquisitions.
- The Director will report to the CEO and work closely with branch teams and functional leaders to achieve strategic goals.
Essential Job Functions:
Partner: Provide subject matter expertise and support for business planning and delivery of key goals. Work collaboratively with the Executive Team, Branch Managers, Field Managers, Mechanics, and vendor partners to ensure strategic alignment of the Fleet with organizational goals, processes, policies, and overall strategy of the enterprise. Develop and manage service-level agreements with suppliers.
Financial: In partnership with Finance, prepare annual capital budgets for growth and replacement assets. Constantly seek to leverage spend categories for favorable discounts/rebates and reduce overall unit costs.
Metrics and Analysis: Analyze fleet and spending data to identify trends and make recommendations. Use relevant Fleet Management software tools and/or telematics to effectively manage analytics.
Business Knowledge: Drive value by understanding and translating fleet data into actionable information. Work with teams to standardize, create, and enhance fleet policies, processes, and systems to further enable efficient and effective fleet operations. Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of process and system documentation. Understand operational needs and proactively identify and develop plans for mitigating risks to ensure effective and efficient operational performance.
Asset Procurement: Facilitate the proper selection, purchase, and utilization of fleet related assets in support of the budget and business goals. Engage with stakeholders to standardize assets throughout the procurement process.
Asset Disposal: Develop and facilitate the proper asset disposal process, to ensure assets are accurately processed in Aspire inventory and removed the branch location in a timely fashion.
Safety: Promote safety policies and procedures relative to fleet assets/operations. Ensure applicable recalls are promptly pulled from service and fixed. Participate in Safety Committee Meetings and help facilitate equipment-related changes that result from Committee decisions.
Regulatory and Compliance: Ensure all vehicle licensing and related programs comply with State and DOT requirements.
Due Diligence Analysis and Post-Sale Integration: Investigate, analyze, and value the fleet and equipment of acquisition candidates. Develop plans to integrate and where necessary, upgrade fleet assets and maintenance operations, consistent with existing operations to drive commonality and maintain cost controls.
Skills and Abilities:
· Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Strong organizational, time, project, and change management skills with proven ability to multi-task and
manage complex projects.
· Ability to assimilate and analyze data for making sound business recommendations and decisions and present
results to others.
· Experience building consensus across a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal
communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels.

Education / Experience:
· BS degree
· Supply Chain or Finance with 5 or more years of progressive experience in Fleet Operations/Procurement
positions
· An equivalent combination of education and Fleet Operations experience will be considered.
Licenses or Other Requirements:
A Valid driver's license is required. Relocation for this position is not available. Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening test.
Travel Requirements:
The position requires the flexibility to travel to Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Washington, and various locations across the Western United States to support our expanding operations.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
