SUMMARY:
The Coordinator Accounting position is responsible for managing the Tyson invalid deduction process. The role includes but is not limited to timely collection of invalid deductions maintaining customer goodwill minimizing negative P&L implications while maximizing trade spend.
The portfolio totals approximately $430,000 or 350 dispute cases.
Pursue deductions deemed invalid by working with external customers to resolve disputes timely. Provide customer with necessary supporting documentation resulting in timely repayment. Articulate clearly and accurately to ensure customer has clear visibility of the issues. Effectively partner with customer and internal stakeholders to accelerate resolution when appropriate. Provide timely and accurate invalid deduction reporting. Assist in establishing KPIs and a best-in-class collection process. Achieve monthly collection targets. Identify, address, and resolve problematic chronic customer behavior to drive efficiency, reduce volume, and minimize risk. Provide top tier customer service to both the internal and external customer. Special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses is preferred.

Experience: 4 plus yrs of accounting experience required.

Deduction or collection knowledge is preferred.

Computer Skills: Knowledge of Excel and SAP (Preferred).

Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.

Special Skills: Must work well in a fast-paced environment where meeting deadlines are a must; positive upbeat attitude internal external customers; strong problem-solving skills ability to multitask.

Supervisory: No necessary background supervising is needed
