Quality Control Associate
The Quality Control Facility Liaison is responsible for ensuring all facility claims are bill out accurately and followed up with on a timely manner. The Facility Liaison will need to build successful relationships with the facilities that we bill, have a comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid stipulations as they affect facility billing, have an understanding of provider contracts as they relate to facility billing, a through understanding of the invoicing processes that are used, and have the ability to partner with our clients to grow and maintain facility relationships. In addition, the Facility Liaison will need to have a thorough understanding of joint billing agreements as they apply to contract management.
The Quality Control Facility Liaison must have effective verbal and written communication skills as they will be responsible for education regarding facilities, as well as internal education and auditing to effectively prevent erroneous claims. They will need to be able to effectively communicate on a one-to-one basis as well as a large group.
As a member of the Quality Control team, the ideal candidate will have the ability to identify gaps in performance and uses this information to collaborate, facilitate and support all educational initiatives including the recommendation of corrective action plans. The candidate will also need to support all quality control tasks, including new hire and continuing education programs, as well as support all other departmental initiatives as assigned or requested.
The Quality Control Facility Liaison will be responsible for upholding the utmost confidentiality relating to company specific, department specific and employee specific protected information.
This is an hourly position and reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification in Business Communication, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- At least one (1) year or more experience at Cornerstone Adminisystems, Inc. preferred, but not required
- Proven interpersonal, organizational, project coordination, analytical, and critical decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote) a must
- Proven proficiency in healthcare billing and reimbursement disciplines required

Employees may access Protected Health Information (PHI) and other patient information only to the extent that is necessary to complete their job duties. PHI may only be shared with other employees who need to know specific patient information to complete their job responsibilities related to billing, payment or other company operations.
Employees are expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding Cornerstone’s policies and procedures on patient privacy and any observed practices in violation of that policy to the designated Privacy Officer.
Employees are expected to actively participate in Cornerstone’s privacy training and are required to communicate privacy policy information to coworkers, students, patients and others in accordance with Cornerstone’s policy.
