Job Overview: The Director is responsible for helping to build up, manage and ensure the quality of all clinical services and operations, in close collaboration with the Executive Director. This role includes the vetting, hiring, training and supervision of clinical staff, collaboration with the Executive Director for program development, and continuous refinement of the clinical model. As a key leader, ensures compliance with fiscal, ethical, and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hire, oversee, supervise, and ensure quality assurance of all SUD clinical services, including record keeping and direct services.
- Ensure clinical services comply with county, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
- Adhere to HIPAA and documentation requirements as identified by regulatory agencies.
- Lead agency compliance activities with the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services and The Joint Commission.
- Provide direct clinical services, including partial day treatment (PHP) and intensive outpatient services (IOP), and individual and group therapy.
- Coordinate with outsourced billing companies to ensure prior authorization for services and completion of utilization reviews.
- Coordinate implementation of treatment plans/program curriculum and service utilization in line with the company's philosophy and objectives.
- Conduct evaluations of clinical staff through formal clinical supervision.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide performance management guidance.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Minimum Qualifications:
- LICSW, LMHC, LADC-1, or PhD level Clinician.
- Master’s Degree is required.
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible program management experience and staff supervision.
- Expertise in transforming clinical staff into a highly functional team.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Experience in program development, evaluation, and public speaking.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Dynamic and enthusiastic personality.
- Experience with start-ups is a great PLUS.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
