Job Overview:
The Media & Web Assistant position will work in conjunction with our internal Marketing/Communications Team to provide video, animated, and digital content and solutions to inform employees about benefits offered and provide additional content services to our clients. Help maintain benefits information on videos, benefits websites, social media accounts, landing pages, HTML email, and support other marketing and technical issues as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Video Production: Produce, edit, and enhance video content for communications, including creating informative and engaging videos, interviews, animated/explainer, and other multimedia presentations.
- Content Creation: Develop written content for various communication channels, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency in messaging.
- Basic Website Design & Maintenance: Design and maintain websites and landing pages primarily in Wordpress geared toward public sector employers and partner insurance brokers.
Qualifications:
- Marketing, communications, HR, or insurance experience or education is NOT REQUIRED but helpful
- Knowledge of camera, audio, lighting and editing equipment
- Knowledge of live and recorded video production techniques and workflows
- An ability to learn new technology and use online tools quickly
- Knowledge of Wordpress or a similar CMS a big plus
- Experience with online design software Canva a plus.
- Ability to work independently as needed and as a part of a team.
- Comfort with technology and using online software to manage your work
- Ability to coordinate the activities internally and with outside vendors to accomplish multiple deadlines
- Must have excellent grammar, writing and organizational skills as well as the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, independent or team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be self-motivated, flexible, and disciplined.
