Position Overview: As the Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing service and ensuring operational excellence. You will lead a team of technicians and service advisors, providing guidance, support, and motivation to deliver exceptional service to every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the business, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
- Mentor service technicians and advisors to uphold high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Ensure efficient and accurate completion of all automotive services and repairs, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- Maintain inventory levels and oversee parts ordering to support service operations.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
- Ensuring that work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Technical proficiency in automotive systems and repairs.
- Solid understanding of automotive service operations and industry regulations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of achieving goals.
- 5+ yrs Sales/Service Management Experience in Auto Service Field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Vehicle Repairs
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Lifting ability up to 50 pounds
