Garden Design is seeking an experienced Commercial Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to join our Dallas Commercial Maintenance division.
JOB SUMMARY
The Account Manager is the main point of contact for our clients and assists the branch production team in obtaining high quality landscape services. The Account Manager is responsible for achieving revenue, profitability, and contract renewal goals through the delivery of outstanding service and strong client relationships while continuing to grow the branch's book of business through new sales/business development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Service:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Perform site walk-throughs with clients to ensure quality and service expectations are met.
- Facilitate the resolution of client concerns to ensure renewal.
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention by understanding the individual needs of our customers.
- Provide excellent service and communication in a constructive, courteous manner with a focus on problem solving.
- Promote high standards for customer service, safety, and Garden Design’s employee-owned culture and core values in a positive team environment.
- Provide organizational management, leadership and communication between client and production team in a timely fashion and work cooperatively to find delivery solutions.
- Create client proposals, contracts, and recommendations and estimates that are designed to meet each client’s objectives are accurately and appropriately priced.
Sales:
- Proactively present site enhancement ideas to your clients.
- Generate referrals from existing clients and passing them to the Business Developer.
- Participate in, organize, and lead networking events to foster relationships with potential and existing customers as both a leader in the industry and a representative of Garden Design.
Operations:
- Assist in overall leadership of the branch.
- Assist with ensuring client expectations are properly communicated to the operations team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 4 years of experience managing a $1M plus landscape maintenance book is a must.
- A minimum of 4 years of prior customer service, management, and leadership experience within an organization, the landscaping industry or local marketplace.
- A degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
