We are seeking passionate Care Professionals with experience in psychology, education, nursing, related services, and other HEAL fields to provide assistance to children or young adults with special needs.
Apex Social seeks compassionate and responsible Live-in Special Needs Care Providers to provide exceptional care for children and young adults with special needs. We are hiring for multiple families in various parts of the country. In addition to offering our candidates the opportunity to relocate to cities such as LA, Boston, San Francisco or New York, we offer career development, training and support for the duration of your tenure with our team.

Some responsibilities may include:
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Provide reliable transportation to and from school, appointments, and recreational activities.
- Engage in interactive activities, fostering a supportive and engaging environment.
- Implement behavioral therapy plans as directed by professionals, supporting the individual's development and progress.
- Practice occupational therapy exercises at home, as advised by the Occupational Therapist
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with special needs, particularly those with limited verbal communication.
- Familiarity with alternative forms of communication such as gestures, picture icons, and physical prompts.
- Certifications or College Degrees in Psychology, Nursing, Education or Related Services
- Willingness to learn
- Possession of a valid driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
