This is a long term contract role for a leading technology company in the United States. This is a HYBRID role to Santa Clara, CA.
Job Title: Live Broadcast Producer
Job Overview:
Client is seeking an experienced and motivated individual with a focus on delivering great experiences to our employees, customers, and shareholders. Core to this role will be planning, coordinating, and producing our TV broadcasts, hybrid events (Zoom + in person) and stream productions. The role will involve all aspects and phases of production including project intake and management, scope definition and requirements, client relationship management across our internal orgs and TV partners (CNBC, Bloomberg, FOX Business) and executing the production the day of the show.
Required Responsibilities and Skills:
· Candidate will be responsible for organizing and scheduling the broadcast from start to finish. This includes: all pre-production, post-production, and live operations during broadcasts.
· Expert proficiency on the Zoom platform and experience producing large virtual shows (up to 20,000 attendees) in both “Zoom Meeting” and “Zoom Webinar.”
· Familiarity with producing large live-streamed events, preferably in a corporate environment.
· Partnering with the Executive Producer, you will work closely with our TV and Internet broadcast partners – CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox, Yahoo Finance
· Must have the ability to make quick decisions, multi-task, manage multiple projects at once and pivot quickly with changes.
Required Work Experience:
· Minimum of 5+ years Live Production experience in Broadcast (Sports/News), Entertainment, or at a Tech Company with Professional Broadcast Services
-Experience doing remote broadcast with Zoom for large audiences
· Required to have experience working with Executive Leadership for both in-person and virtual (Zoom) productions.
· Experience working in a live studio and broadcast control room setting and be familiar with the technologies that run a live production: audio mixer, video switcher and cameras, CDN (The Switch), teleprompter operation, PL, IFB communications.
· Production and Project management experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Negotiable Requirements:
- Familiarity with broadcast engineering, preferably in a remote production environment. Vmix, Mitti (playback), Powerpoint, Keynote, Prompter, Ross Acuity Switcher, BM Constellation, How to load and run a teleprompter
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of technical production for live streaming and/or broadcast events.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with broadcast engineering, preferably in a remote production environment.
- Vmix, Mitti (playback), Powerpoint, Keynote, Prompter, Ross Acuity Switcher, BM Constellation
- How to load and run a teleprompter
Travel:
This Job requires someone onsite and local to the area. Light Travels at times, depends on our P5 executives.
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $60/ hour-$68/hr.
