Responsibilities:
•* *Payroll Processing:
o Accurately process weekly payroll for all employees.
o Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
o Manage certified payroll reporting and submission.
o Handle Union dues calculations and payments.
o Maintain payroll records and employee files.
•* *Administrative Support:
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and office organization.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and distribute company communications and correspondence.
- Support HR functions, including onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records.
•* *Compliance and Reporting:
o Prepare and submit payroll-related reports.
o Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
o Collaborate with the HR and Accounting departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
•* *Employee Relations:
o Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
o Provide support during audits and assist in resolving payroll discrepancies.
Qualifications:
•* *Experience:
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
o Experience with certified payroll and Union dues is highly preferred.
o Previous experience in a mechanical contracting or construction industry is a plus.
o Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
o Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
•* *Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent required.
o Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.52 - $22.64 per hour
