Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work, including framing, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, metal, or other materials
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, countertops, and other fixtures
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures on job sites
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction industry
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for carpentry work
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and flooring installation
- Familiarity with CNC machines for precision cutting and shaping of materials
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Basic understanding of construction estimating for material and labor costs
Skills:
- Construction painting
- CNC operation for precision cutting and shaping of materials
- Fixture installation
- Maintenance Person skills for general repairs and maintenance tasks
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, etc.
- Experience with power tools for efficient carpentry work
- Flooring installation techniques for various types of flooring materials
- Knowledge of construction estimating for accurate project cost assessments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
