We do things a little different at Heathrow Family Law and we are looking for associates who share our mission to provide affordable legal services to the average person who cannot afford traditional legal fees. If you want to help people who are going through the worst time in their lives, this may be for you.
This position requires someone who is comfortable with a heavy caseload of up to 50 concurrent cases. You should be able to manage clients without the clients managing you. By this we mean that we want you to be able to guard your precious time and keep meetings brief as well as realigning unrealistic expectations.
We want an associate who is compassionate, self-directed, has excellent time management, above-average writing skills, great customer service skills, learns quickly, and embraces technology. This position requires our associate attorney to work independently and manage their clients needs without constant supervision. Our associate attorney will work remotely 100% of the time after initial training is complete with the exception of staff meetings which may be in person. Our associate attorney should have excellent Wi-Fi and a quiet place to work at home without being disturbed. Equipment will be provided. Must have reliable transportation to attend court and mediation as needed.
This position does not involve sales as clients will be assigned to you. We do not have billable hour requirements but expect you to manage your time to move your cases through the process in a timely manner. Please submit a writing sample with resume and let us know why this position interests you in your cover letter.
