Key Elements and Essential Tasks
Support the development and reporting on and data analytics of facilities engineering management operations and performance metrics.
Support the portfolio strategies by implementing global GRE programs and initiatives.
Work with Facilities Service Partners and our global team to ensure process, procedures, reporting, and control are effective and standardized.
Provide support for all engineering operations to insure standards adherence and audit readiness.
Facilitate internal assessments and external audits with Facilities Service Partners to coordinate and monitor progress.
Develop and or draft documents, playbooks, standards, and other administrative support mechanisms to ensure standardization and performance optimization.
Maintain or establish and manage automated solutions that include reporting, analytics, and visualization capabilities for mission critical operations.
Assist with adhoc data analysis tasks that come from the client.
Work within the Planon CMMS work order process and BMS and CMMS systems and associated data platform, as it specifically relates to performance management/reporting and maximizing capabilities.
Deep dive into large data sets to answer key business questions and leverage an analytic mindset to develop visualization of key trends that translates insights for decision making leveraging Tableau, Smartsheet and Excel.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, and data visualization.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to stakeholders effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education/training
High School Diploma/GED or preferred 4-year College Degree focused on data governance / data management.
Background in engineering, mission critical operations, construction/design is preferred.
Demonstrated experience establishing and meeting goals, tracking and driving enhancement opportunities, and presenting progress of the same to senior management.
Team player. Must have a collaborative and participative management style.
Flexible, process-oriented, organized, with excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills.
Comfort-level with ambiguity and high-pressure environments
Proficient in all MS products including Teams, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel
Working knowledge of Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx, a plus
Years of relevant experience
1-5 years’ experience in the corporate real estate business/industry
Skills and knowledge
Relationship management skills: excellent listening and consultative capability; ability to influence and negotiate with business and technology partners to drive change, and the ability to take a broad perspective and make key connections.
Demonstrated information management, analytics, and data profiling skills. Control, compliance, audit, risk management and relevant experience in risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and remediation will be helpful.
Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the overall information and analytics space.
Strong group facilitation skills: ability to move a process forward, while meeting the needs of a variety of clients.
Ability to work with various levels of peers including analysts, developers and executives regarding complex business and data related issues.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate projects. Manage task timelines and deliverable schedules, recognize and share risks and roadblocks.
Superior ability to manage, manipulate and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using technology. Articulate the issues and resolutions via business-friendly communications. Serve as primary day-to-day contact for regional data management issues.
Good understanding of data quality management. Knowledge of data governance and how it impacts business processes
Other abilities
Leadership: Self-starter able to work through local and remote teams. Assist and champion process improvements to our global PM teams as a result of changes initiated by the Global PM SME. Lead on boarding processes for new hires.
Technical Competence: Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Masterful in the use of Excel and other Microsoft tools.
Written & Oral Communications: Excellent verbal and written communications skills via 1:1 group interactions, PowerPoint presentations and email. Able to communicate across diverse groups of individuals.
Results-Driven: Experience at establishing and keeping deadlines. Meticulously detailed oriented to enable accurate reporting.
