We are looking for a recruiter with experience recruiting in a high volume, call center environment in addition to specialized professional and leadership roles. This position requires the ability to successfully operate in a fast-paced atmosphere filling 140+-positions on an annual basis across multiple locations and business line.
The Ops/Claims Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting internal and external talent for The Hartford and provide consultative guidance throughout the recruiting process. The Talent Consultant Recruiter is expected to bring robust recruiting and market knowledge to help build an optimal organizational structure and aid in talent decisions.
This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
Responsibilities:
Manages full lifecycle recruiting for high-volume and professional positions while adhering to goals and metrics,
Develops and implements hiring strategies to address talent needs.
Utilizes creative, customized approaches including social media to supplement traditional sourcing methods.
Accountable for interviewing qualified and diverse candidates for high-volume and professional openings to support hiring efforts.
Works with senior recruiters, peers, and other business partners to understand and anticipate talent needs, related issues, and help build an optimal organizational structure and aid in talent decisions.
Actively stays current of changes in the labor market, compensation, talent pools, titles, skills, competitors, etc.
Regularly attend appropriate business line and HR staff meetings as well as participate or lead recruiting projects.
Maximizes use of technology and tools and maintains staffing standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years strategic, high-volume full cycle recruiting experience in a corporate, retained search firm, contingency/agency or other high-volume recruiting environment.
Strong knowledge of Workday strongly preferred
Exposure to Contact Center and Insurance Industry recruiting a plus.
Ability to interview/Screen up to 10+ candidates daily to support the class hiring efforts.
Experience utilizing technology to streamline the recruitment process to reach both passive and active candidates, building pipeline in advance of need is preferred.
Excellent planning and organizing skills; able to “juggle” responsibilities effectively in a high volume, fast-paced service environment.
Experience utilizing a consultative approach for sourcing, assessment, and selection in order to recruit qualified candidates.
Ability to understand and manage expectations of business partners and candidates while providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
Excellent relationship building and consultative skills and the ability to collaboratively partner with and coach business partners and stakeholders.
Experience Prioritizing and managing multiple assignments concurrently, performing well under pressure, meeting deadlines, while ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
Drive to deliver results, take accountability and ownership of work, and strive for continuous improvement.
Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and decision-making skills is required.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$84,080 - $126,120
