Job Summary: The Customer Service/Maintenance Support role is a combination customer service and wash maintenance position. The role will be responsible for interacting with guests by addressing inquiries while providing support and information on the car wash services and products. In addition, this position will help oversee technical aspects of our car wash facilities.
The role will be responsible for providing and creating a stellar wash experience and using hand and power tools to ensure all wash functions operate at optimal levels. The position does require prior mechanical knowledge and experience, along with a desire to learn and work with the most advanced equipment and technology in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a consistently great, positive customer experience for every guest
- Interact warmly with guests, explain our services, and respond with confidence to questions
- Recognize guests’ needs and proactively address needs through conversations
- Process point-of-sale purchases
- Make good decisions to prevent and resolve issues quickly and appropriately
- Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks on buildings, equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Implement preventative maintenance measures
- Operate and maintain a wide variety of hand tools and equipment
- Maintain basic records related to work performed and inventory of repair equipment and supplies; collect and enter data and photo/video documentation into a computer system
- Work under routine and urgent conditions, both indoors and outdoors
- Know and follow safe work methods and safety protocols
- Perform other customer and team care duties, as requested
- Perform other operations, maintenance, and carwash site care duties, as requested
Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Ability to maintain clear and transparent communication
- Desired experience and knowledge: installation and maintenance of industrial electrical systems, wiring practices, electrical codes, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, high-pressure and vacuum pumps, plumbing
- Experience in operating a variety of equipment and tools; experience with welding preferred, but not required
- Ability to prioritize tasks, set and attain project goals, and follow specified procedures
- Ability to collaborate with team members and maintain clear, open communication verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and trouble-shoot quickly
- Availability to work a flexible schedule based on projects with regular late nights, early mornings, and weekends (much of the maintenance work cannot be conducted during carwash business hours)
- Willingness to consent to a background check
- Willingness to travel when needed (approximately 10%)
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to abide by our uniform appearance standards
Physical Demands: Ability to continuously stand or walk for prolonged periods; ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, climb ladders of various sizes, reach, and lift frequently (lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally); must be able to use hands and fingers to operate, handle, and use controls, equipment, and tools; vision must be sufficient to see details up close and must have the ability to focus in loud environment.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· At least two years related experience required.
