Landscape Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Landscape Maintenance technicians maintain our commercial accounts by mowing, string trimming, edging, shrub trimming, and blowing off properties as scheduled. Other duties may be required as requested. This position is year round to include snow removal during the winter months.
Responsibilities
- Use all equipment safely and efficiently
- Report any issues seen outside of task performed while working
- Report to work on time
- Must be available for snow removal at any time (including overnight)
- Make sure that all equipment and trailers are loaded or attached properly and are to DOT specifications
- Maintain trucks, trailers and equipment on a regular basis to prevent field failures and safety hazards
- Awareness of aging tools that may need replacement or repair
Requirements
- Valid Colorado drivers’ license
- Must be able to work up to 50 hours per week if needed (overtime pay applies)
- No scheduling conflicts
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Must be able to work at a fast pace in the heat of the summer on a daily basis
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be available for snow removal
Preferred Skills
- Proficient in mowing (commercial mowers) and string trimming
Salary $17/hr.+ Depending on Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
