- Customer Care/Sales Associate
SUMMARY:
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing customer care and service in our independently owned custom screen print and corporate apparel business. The Sales Associate will create and maintain customer relationships and facilitate customer sales. The Sales Associate will assist with merchandising, POS operations, production, and general office tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide prompt and friendly service to all customers.
- Ensure a welcoming customer focused environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer and offering best in class service.
- Act as a consultant to prospective and existing customers on their screen printing, embroidery or apparel needs.
- Express knowledge about all the services offered by the business, make recommendations and answer customer questions about each.
- Present and promote catalog products to current and new customers based on their needs and your knowledge.
- Initiate sales through exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques and product knowledge; communicate suggestions to customers if needed to promote customer confidence.
- Facilitate a positive customer experience from first contact to finished product.
- Work with other departments to ensure quality work according to the customers’ needs.
- Efficiently and effectively, prepare work orders for each customer job.
- Duties may change and team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS: Provide outstanding customer service including in person, over the phone and through electronic communication.

REQUIREMENTS: Assist with preparing customer orders, such as applying embellishments, quality control and packaging.
- Perform general office tasks such as answering phones, data entry, filing etc.
- Assist with inventory related duties such as ordering, receiving and inventory control.
- Assist in merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping as needed.
- Possess the ability to sit or stand for lengths of time, walk, reach, handle, and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Arrive to work at designated time and work designated hours. (Monday – Friday 9:00 to 5:30)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; some college preferred
Experience: At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Prior experience or knowledge of screen-printing or embroidery and prior experience in sales helpful and preferred.
