We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the receipt and inspection of incoming shipments, ensuring that all products are accurately accounted for and in good condition. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Additionally, the candidate must be fluent in Spanish to effectively communicate with diverse suppliers and team members.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Unload deliveries, check for damages or discrepancies, and report any issues to the appropriate department.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods, including entering data into inventory management systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve pricing, delivery issues, and discrepancies.
- Organize and store received items in designated locations, ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Assist with periodic inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Prepare and distribute receiving reports to relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding the handling and storage of goods.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) to prepare reports, maintain records, and communicate with team members and suppliers.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
- Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to [weight limit].

- Knowledge of inventory management software is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
