1. Provide exceptional service, courtesy, and friendliness to all customers.
2. Receive, weigh, and breakdown meats and related products.
3. Cut and trim all merchandise according to store standards.
4. Price, rotate, and display product in cases as directed by department manager.
5. May wrap and package as directed or required.
6. Maintain proper operation of all power and non-power equipment. Report any problems to the Meat Manager.
7. Maintain sanitation program and proper housekeeping of work, display, and storage areas.
8. Communicate temperature failures of cases and storage areas to manager in charge. Monitor hourly.
9. Maintain good customer relations by providing prompt and courteous service.
10. Observe state health regulations.
11. Must wear hat, hairnet, or hair restraint; plastic gloves and any other items required by government sanitation regulations or company policy.
12. Perform supervisory duties when requested by management.
13. Aid in the training of new hires.
14. Perform other duties and assignments as directed.
