Description
The Asset Management Associate is instrumental in supporting the daily oversight and management of a diverse portfolio, focusing on partnership relations, financial analysis, and reporting. Positioned in Winter Park, FL, and reporting directly to the VP of Asset Management, this role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, maintaining critical financial controls, and fostering strong relationships with partners and stakeholders. With a strong emphasis on support rather than creation, the Associate will play a key role in the continuous optimization of asset performance through meticulous analysis, relationship management, and administrative excellence.
Essential Duties
- Maintain and Support Partnership Relationships: Ensure ongoing support and maintenance of relationships with partners, investors, and stakeholders, fostering collaborative and positive interactions.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses with an emphasis on maintaining and optimizing existing models. Utilize advanced Excel skills for valuation, pro forma analysis, and other financial assessments.
- Assist in Reporting: Support the VP of Asset Management in the preparation and maintenance of accurate and timely reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Operational Support: Contribute to the daily operational tasks including strategic planning, fiscal management, and risk management to ensure the portfolio’s performance aligns with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the VP of Asset Management, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the asset management function.
- Actively support the analysis and evaluation of asset performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the maintenance and update of financial models and reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Support the management of tenant relations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Facilitate the collection, analysis, and reporting of market data to inform strategic decisions.
Job Qualifications/Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in asset management, real estate, finance, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience in financial analysis, valuation, and pro forma analysis.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a family office setting is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
