Description:
We are seeking individuals who are willing to further develop their craftsmanship, are self-motivated, have technical skills, and are
willing to be a part of a team. These positions require no previous experience and all associates will be placed through an on boarding and training program in order to ensure success.
(Will include positions such as: Specialty Cabinet Assembly, Finisher/Detailers, Spray Adhesive Applicators, Packagers/Wrappers and Sanders.)

Depended on the positions being filled can include but not limited to:

Read and thoroughly understand the Job Cut Sheet before starting each job

Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure that all products were constructed correctly and to the highest quality standards.

Ability to move in a fast pace environment while adhering to customer quality and specification guidelines

Maintain quality and safety standards.

Organize and maintain cleanliness in the workplace at all times

Record keeping of job information.

Oversee the cutting process, make adjustments throughout each job, catch cabinet mistakes on paperwork, and take necessary measures to eliminate errors

Responsible for operating a table saw and door clamp

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.
-
Knowledge of how to read and understand measurement tools (tape measure, micrometer)
-
The ability to understand shipping manifests and follow a production schedule
-
Will package and prepare the finished cabinet doors, drawer boxes and cabinet components for shipping
-
Be able to ensure that all pieces of each job are accounted for and packaged in a timely manner
-
Report any quality issues or defects to the immediate supervisor
-
Ability to use standard equipment such as basic hand tools (tape measure, strapping machine, cordless tools, etc.)

Proficiency in creating and applying the correct labels on completed packaged materials
-
Must be able to interpret written instructions and be an active thinker
-
Read shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed.

Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, gather and maintain all data relative to shipping activities.

Collect all documentation for outboard freight and route to the proper record keeping unit.

Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.

Operate equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, pallet jacks and more safely and efficiently.

Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.

Perform additional duties as required and or requested by management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Must be able to work in a high paced, high pressure, production environment.

Understands how to prioritize and interpret production schedules.

Forklift experience preferred

Minimum Qualifications:
-
1 year minimum experience working a bore hinge or dowel machine
-
Cabinetry Experience preferred
-
Math skills: will need to understand addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions and decimals

Ability to work repetitive movements and standing for long periods of time
-
Ability to lift and slide products weighing 50 - 100 lbs.
