Energy One is looking for an energetic and motivational individual that desires a rewarding career training, building, and managing a successful door-to-door, canvassing team. Our ideal candidate is familiar with local neighborhood demographics, disciplined, goal-oriented, and has a strong capacity to motivate. Experience with door-to-door marketing, customer service, direct residential sales of pest service, security systems, or solar panels is a plus. This is a full-time position with bi-weekly base pay, and personal and team-based production bonuses
Job Description:
- Actively recruit for the door-to-door canvassers to ensure your team(s) is/are well staffed and capable of handling a flux of employee turnover.
- Train new-hired canvassers to be able to produce well-qualified sales leads for the company’s sales directors.
- Conduct regular continual-training meetings with the canvassing team to review your team’s competency with the company script, rebuttals, and other miscellaneous techniques to ensure continued productivity.
- Maintain the company Salesforce platform including but not limited to, ensuring lead contact and appointment information has been entered accurately and correctly formatted; assigning appointments to company approved sales directors; ensuring sales directors are resulting their assigned appointments within 24 hours of the appointment run time, etc.
- Assist the administrative team to ensure that new-hire canvassers have completed all on-boarding activities.
- Oversee the day-to-day work activities of the canvassing team including but not limited to, assigning territory pockets, validating timesheets, reviewing the quality of appointments being set by the canvassing team, creating incentives to motivate production, etc.
- Provide canvassers their end-of-pay-period timesheets for review and approval ahead of payroll.
- Document and execute disciplinary action for canvassers as needed up to and including termination.
- Review weekly canvasser lead costs and implement strategies for balancing incentives to maximize performance.
- This position does interact and oversee a group of experienced sales professionals. There is potential for this position to run overflow appointments after additional training to increase personal income.

- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers’ license, and proof of insurance.
- Must be able and willing to submit for a DMV and Background Check
- Must have a smart phone.
- Must be willing and able to work safely in outdoor weather – Heat, cold.
- Experience using an online database is preferred.
- Previous canvassing and/or management experience is a bonus
