Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications and determine the creditworthiness of applicants
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and assess the risk associated with each loan application
- Negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial documents and information for loan processing
- Utilize loan origination software, such as Quicken, to streamline the application and approval process
- Perform credit analysis to assess the likelihood of repayment and adherence to TILA regulations
- Maintain accurate records of loan applications, approvals, and denials
- Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to ensure smooth loan processing
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in loan origination
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial sales or a related field
- NMLS license required
- Strong knowledge of loan origination processes and procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software for financial analysis purposes
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for both the client and the bank
- Ability to analyze creditworthiness and assess risk accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service
