POSITION SUMMARY
Supervisors are accountable for the operations of responsible departments to ensure on time, quality and financial targets are met. He/she directly supervises team members to ensure production procedures/processes and company policies and rules are consistently followed.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for Production Planning of all products/services within departments of responsibility to ensure on-time delivery of quality parts. Production Planning includes resource planning, product flow and prioritization.
2. Responsible for the processes. In coordination with Manufacturing Engineering, resolves process problems and champion opportunities for continuous improvement.
3. Responsible for improvement activities to meet company goals, such as On-Time delivery, quality, efficiency and cost, etc. Improves department productivity and efficiency through planning, training, improvement activities and evaluation of labor standards.
4. Coordinates processes to ensure continuous flow on all shifts.
5. Ensures a safe, positive and encouraging work environment for all team members.
6. Ensure team members receive the necessary training on operation logistics, proper usage of equipment and process documents.
7. Determines work schedules for team members and coordinates assignments with other shifts to maintain a continuous flow of product for our customers.
8. Review and approve time charged by their direct reports on a daily basis so that employees may be paid.
9. Participates in lean activities and training of lean concepts.
10. Provides timely performance reviews and feedback to team members.
11. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in manufacturing.
2. Minimum of three (3) years experience supervising with accountability for other shifts.
3. High school diploma or equivalent
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
1. Ability to work on complex tasks, and interpret schematics and drawings
2. Demonstrate writing skills and ability to communicate effectively

5. Must develop and maintain good team member and interdepartmental relations
6. Must have people motivation skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Position will require overtime on an as needed basis to include working Saturday’s on a rotational basis. It is a second shift position.

3. Confidentiality: Knowledge of team member wages and increases
DEGREE OF SUPERVISION
Work is done under limited supervision.
OTHER
This position is under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by Title 22 of Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
