We are committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our clients, and we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shipping Coordinator to join our growing team.
Duties:
- Coordinate and create labels for ground and palletized freight shipments
- Precise data entry of all shipments
- Create error reports and discuss with the team on ways to improve.
- Schedule LTL freight services and ground services.
- Verify and process sales orders through NetSuite and create invoices
- Create spreadsheets for drop shipments. Converting excel and CSV files.
- Importing and exporting drop shipments ranging through 5,000+ addresses.
- Provide immediate tracking to customers.
- Organize and create training worksheets for onboarding.
- Staying current with domestic and international shipping knowledge.
- Propose new inventive ways to utilize the resources available to ensure a quick and accurate shipping routine for the company.
- Create shipping quotes for inquiries and potential orders.
- Communicate with customers and freight teams to ensure accurate deliveries.
- Work independently with little to no management, and cohesively within a team.
- Update team with new procedures, rates, and changes in the shipping department.
- Work alongside warehouse teammates to receive and provide shipping specs.
- Provide immediate updates on shipping exceptions to customers and team.
- Working quickly and efficiently to get orders out in a timely manner with urgency and accuracy.
Skills:
- At least 1 year experience of Shipping
- Knowledge of UPS Worldship & FedEx Ship Manager
- Strong organizational skills and planning
- Excellent written/verbal and communication skills
- Extremely detail oriented with the ability to check and verify accuracy of your own work
- Enthusiastic & passionate at their job
- Team player that interacts well with other department members
- Self-motivated and driven to take initiative
- Fast learner with problem solving skills
- Intermediate PC skills (MS Office, Google/Gmail Business)
