Our sales are up this year and we are adding additional staff to our sales team!
We are looking for a customer service-oriented salesperson to fit in our low-pressure sales environment. Sales staff provide information about our product to the customers, instead of trying to use sales tactics to convince them to buy. Our pricing is the lowest in town, which makes selling easy at our company compared to other furniture stores.
**You will be required to put the customer’s needs before your need of making a commissioned sale. Our company always puts the customer first. This method of thinking has created incredible customer loyalty and skyrocketed our sales.
No furniture sales experience required! Most of our sales staff had never sold furniture before starting at our company. We will happily train any person with a positive attitude and desire to succeed.
Daily responsibilities and requirements:
-Greet customers at door to explain our program.
-Help customer through purchase process.
-Answering phone and writing up orders over the phone.
-Communicate with customer via email and online messaging.
-Help customers at sales counter. Collect payment, properly fill out invoice and process order.
-Help customers with any service issue.
-No cold calling. All of our leads call the store for help or stop by the showroom.
-Assist customer with loading product in their vehicles. Must be able to dolly a sofa, lift 50lbs.
-Work with multiple customers at once. We have an extremely high energy, fun sales environment. We pay more than the typical store, but you will have to move at a fast pace for most of the day.
-Cleaning showroom at the beginning and end of the day.
Job perks and pay:
-Base pay plus commission. $14 per hour plus 1%-3% commission and bonuses on certain product such as mattresses, extended warranty, closeouts and more. $4 bonus each time you help a customer load furniture into their vehicle on items valued over $100. Most sales staff makes $30-35 per hour with top tier sales staff making $40-45 per hour.

There is a manager ready to step in to help with an issue and they will go above and beyond to satisfy customer. The owner is also at the showroom 50 plus hours a week to help with any issues.
Position schedule: Weekends required
Fridays 9:45 to 7pm
Saturdays 9:45 to 7pm
Sundays 9:45am to 5pm
Mondays 9:45 to 7pm
One additional 4 or 9 hour shift available based on applicants needs and desire for hours.
