The Bank of New York Mellon seeks Vice President, Metrics and Analytics Manager II in New York, NY, to produce and report strategic measurements that demonstrate the value and effectiveness of the CTS organization and formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters. Establish strong relationships with internal teams to gain an understanding of their strategies, objectives, and tactics to develop a comprehensive measurement plan and collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Information Technology & Analytics, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of experience must include: Designing visualization and Reporting solutions to assist in business decision making using tools including Oracle Reports, Tableau, and Power BI; Implementing ETL Layers to source data from multiple sources including Flat files, Mainframe systems, Vertica database into the in-house database, and performing data transformation using SQL scripts; Creating core database elements using SQL Tables/Views/Procedures/Functions to perform business operations including payment processing and metrics value calculation; Automating and standardizing repetitive manual activities using tools Excel VBA, Oracle tools, and UiPath; Collaborating with stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate the requirements into functional and technical specifications; and Maintaining clear workpaper documents using Microsoft office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to articulately record the solution approach, scope, and constraints. BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary/range for this position is expected to be $161,201.25 to $203,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors .
