The AHSG Corporate Trade Show Planner is responsible for the overall trade show program, encompassing budget, design, and management. This role involves close collaboration with the marketing team to ensure maximum impact of all shows while adhering to brand guidelines. Additionally, the position requires managing vendor relationships and ensuring that all materials and collateral are timely prepared and delivered to the trade show venue.
Key responsibilities include planning and executing corporate trade shows and events, coordinating logistics, managing vendors, and overseeing event setup and breakdown. The planner will manage event spending and track expenses to ensure budget compliance. Working closely with the marketing team, they will ensure all promotional materials are prepared and delivered on time. The role also involves developing and maintaining vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor performance to ensure high service levels. Other tasks include managing internal communication, registration, accommodations, booth design, client activities, onsite logistics, and shipping. The planner will ensure events comply with company policies and continually analyze event performance metrics to improve trade show ROI. Staying updated on industry trends and performing other general marketing duties as directed are also essential. The position requires the ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time, learn new tasks, maintain focus, and complete tasks independently within a productivity quota.
Training, Skills, Knowledge, and/or Experience:
Specific training courses in this field (explain): Training in areas such as digital marketing, public relations, event management, advertising, and consumer behavior is highly desirable. Professional certifications in marketing or event planning (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP), or similar) are a plus but not required. (P)

Education:
Bachelor's Degree: Required from an accredited institution.
Preferred Fields of Study: Marketing, Event Planning, Communications, Business Administration, or closely related fields.
