We are actively seeking an experienced Residential Site Supervisor for the Southwest Philadelphia area. The Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision and oversight of our Direct Support Professionals providing care to Adults with Intellectual disabilities/autism residing in licensed community homes. The CLA Site Supervisor is responsible for the general management of assigned Home/s for Individuals with Intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This professional is responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive home environment which facilitates the development of self-help skills among Individuals and providing an environment conducive for producing self-sufficiency and integration into the community. The CLA Site Supervisor has responsibility for shift coverage and staffing emergencies; monitors Direct Care Professionals to ensure that ISP’s, 6400 regulations and policies and procedures are followed at all times, through direct observation and measurement of job performance. The CLA Site Supervisor is also responsible for on-going training of all employees under their direct supervision. This CLA Site Supervisor ensures that the rights of the Individuals are observed at all times and that the safety and well-being of the Individuals is protected at all times. The CLA Site Supervisor prepares or assists in preparing written reports; including daily case notes, medical logs, activities and training schedules, incident reports and other documentation as required. This position requires the ability to work on-call and work a flexible scheduleCovid-19 Consideration: Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination required for this position. General Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and all activities related to the care of and quality of life of the Individual/s within a Community Home
- Ensure that all Individuals are being treated with respect and dignity and that the rights of the Individuals are observed at all times.
- Assure that all individuals have a comfortable, clean, orderly, properly stocked, safe environment
- Staff scheduling for the assigned homes. Reviews and authorizes time sheets/time clock as required
- Meet with DSP staff on a regular basis to address company policy and procedures
- Provide supervision to DSP staff in a positive and constructive manner.
- Perform new hire (CLA) site specific orientation and training
- Participation in the implementation of individual support plans and behavior support plans as well as training DSP staff on said plans
- Monitors the quality and completion of all paperwork from DSP staff
- Adhere and abide by established policies and procedures and safety standards and regulations of the Agency, Count and State
- Manage schedules for Individual’s medical and dental appointments. Participate and oversee medical, dental and overall care follow up appointments for the individual
- Meet with management team on a regular basis to plan and contribute to company strategies
- Supervise the periodic review of Fire Safety, Evacuation Procedures, responsibilities during Fire Drills, the designated safe place outside of the building or within the fire safe area in the event of a fire
- Report any changes related to the Individual’s needs to the Program Specialist, Supports Coordinator and DSPs, when applicable
- Maintains open communications with individual's program specialist, day program, parents, family members and significant other/s
- Coordinates and/or transports Individuals to day program and medical appointments, as required
- Manage and administer financial accounts for Home: operating expenses, non-food, food, gas, etc., and Individual monies; and accurate daily balance and reconcile monetary allowances accurately on a biweekly basis
- Responds immediately to crisis situations/incidents per agency/County/State procedures
Working Conditions: Work will take place in the homes and the community Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 2+ years’ management/supervisory experience of direct support professionals
- 3+ years’ experience as a direct support professional
- Knowledge and understanding 6400 regulations and other state/local regulations
- Understanding and commitment to community-based support for persons with disabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel
- Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated home management skills, to include, budget management, cleaning, menu preparation and nutrition and emergency steps
- Valid Driver's License and safe driving record
- Work Physical and TB screening (less than one year old)
- Willing to undergo a criminal background screening
- Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19
