Customer Service Representative

We are currently hiring a Sales Customer Service Representative for our largest U.S printed circuit board facility located in Minnetonka, MN.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review documentation, ensure completeness and enter customer purchase orders into FTG’s ERP system, as well as, customer portals as required.
- Provide customers with timely order status and shipping information
- Coordinate quote responses with sales team and customers
- Answer customer inquiries about order status and delivery schedules
- Help expedite deliveries and maintain oversight on key orders
- Assist Sales staff with various issues pertaining to new and existing orders, and quote status
- Work with plant procurement, production control, engineering and manufacturing teams to communicate customer information, preventing/resolving any issues and supporting order deliveries.
- Miscellaneous filing
- Other work and projects as assigned
- Follow area operating procedures, safety protocol and company policies
Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Consistent performer with outstanding dependability
- Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to communicate professionally via email, phone, and in person
- Works well independently and is also able to effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the team, customers and management
- Experience using Microsoft Suite (ie: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable learning new skills and working with various customer portals
- Proficient computer skills are a plus
- Basic math skills required
