New England Spring is a growing business in Bristol, CT. We are fast-paced and customer focused. We have been supplying fourslide, coiling, secondary and stamping parts to the aerospace, medical, automotive, HVAC, lighting and mining and industrial industries since 1946. Our facility is registered to ISO 9001-2015 and AS9100 D. These standards, for general manufacturing and aerospace respectively, demonstrate our commitment to quality and improvement over time.

Spring Coiler Set-up and Operate
Summary: Produce helical springs and rings on spring coiling equipment.
Duties:
1. Read and interpret drawings, quality plans and work instructions.
2. Setup coilers to produce parts according to a quality plan.
3. Setup and operate spring coiling gages.
4. Develop spring dimensions at the coiler necessary to achieve the finish drawing requirements.
5. Make and sharpen spring coiling tools.
6. Perform first piece and in process inspection while maintaining quality and process records.
7. Move work and prepare move tickets, using the 2 pan system.
8. Maintain equipment, work area and process cards.
9. Obey all safety regulations and comply with ISO 9001 Procedures and Work
Instructions.
