Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.Duties:- Prepare patients for dental procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist the dentist during procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Maintain accurate patient recordsQualifications:- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program- X-ray certification preferred- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment- Experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageousNice-to-have Skills:- Proficiency with 3D scanner technology- Understanding of medical coding and terminology- Prior experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry- Knowledge of anatomy for dental proceduresBenefit:- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications- Health insurance coverage- Paid time off for full-time employeesRequirements:- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting- Proficiency in dental receptionist duties is beneficial- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
