he Department of Public Works (DPW) Project Manager I (G.22) will serve as a key knowledge worker driving and leading critical initiatives for the department. This is a strategic and analytical position. The Project Manager is responsible for supporting DPW Leadership on all operational engagements, key departmental initiatives. and formal projects. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the schedule, budget and details of assigned task are well organized. They communicate to keep teams aligned and all key resources engaged for operation success and execution of project plans. In addition, they organize reporting, plan meetings, and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership. They communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; establishing and maintain effective working relationships to the benefit of the organization. The Project manager properly plans and designates project resources, lead teams, help prepare budgets, and monitor progress of key resources throughout. This is all done having the perspective and understanding of DPW’s goals and vision.
