Nuclear Cardiology Technologist

Job Overview:
Join our team as a Nuclear CardiologyTechnologist where you will be an integral part of our healthcare facility. As a Nuclear Cardiology Technologist, you will perform Lexiscan PET and Lexiscan SPECT or Treadmill SPECT myocardial perfusion studies. TM EKG tech will assist you.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct nuclear medicine procedures following established protocols and guidelines.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture images of organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.
- Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results accurately.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Utilize physiology knowledge to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions.
- Adhere to radiation safety regulations and protocols at all times.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, potentially in Level II or Level I Trauma Centers.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Cardiac PET experience preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and Nuclear cardiology technologist duties.
- Ability to assess vital signs and respond effectively in emergency medicine situations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology.
