Job Title: Solution Analyst
The Solution Analyst is responsible for ensuring technology solutions address business requirements and achieve the identified business outcomes. This position primarily focuses on designing and configuring platforms to support business needs. The role involves a combination of strong business acumen, application domain knowledge, and effective communication skills in both technical and business languages. Unlike a developer, the Solution Analyst builds technical solutions by configuring systems based on business requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configure and design systems to meet business needs.
- Understand emerging technologies to identify opportunities for automation and standardization of business processes.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between IT and business functions, from initial requirements gathering to final implementation.
- Develop business and technical process documentation and training materials.
- Apply system solutions to business requirements through platform configuration (e.g., ECC, Salesforce).
- Interact with processing teams, vendors, and other integrated systems.
- Assist subject matter experts with gap analysis, process definition, and system enhancements.
- Provide high-level service for break-fix incidents and requests.
- Manage data migration, archiving, and reconciliation as needed.
- Work on medium-complexity tasks or projects, acting as a subject matter expert and mentoring junior staff.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
- Mentor in coding best practices, technical design, and quality assurance.
- Collect information to develop work scopes and attain customer requirements.
- Communicate system and procedural changes to end users effectively.
- Lead small project components.
- Assess situations, identify problems, and propose value-adding solutions.
- Support and occasionally drive the definition of project requirements, including milestones, phases, and budget needs.
- Monitor project progress, resolve problems, publish progress reports, and recommend actions.
