We are seeking a Bidding/Purchasing Officer to join our team! You will also be involved in clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and summarize Quotations from manufacturers, ability to negotiate and submit bids online.
- Draft correspondences and send/respond to emails.
- Perform other basic office tasks as may be assigned - draft purchase orders, prepare shipping labels/documents.
Qualifications:
- Basic calculation of costs, percentages, identify when there is a profit or a loss.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - most especially Excel & Word.
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields.
- Speed, commitment and ability to work without supervision.
- Good typing skill up to 50 wpm will be an added advantage.
- Time management and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
