SUMMARY OF POSITION:
New Horizon Counseling Center seeks Account Managers in Brooklyn for its Business Development Team. The Account Manager is responsible for the following:
- lead in their designated territory all aspects of business development including strategy formulation, outreach and marketing communications.
- achieve specific targets by implementing business strategies to drive growth across all lines of business.
- recruit and manage a high performing account management team that will focus on building long term relationships with key referral channels in order to achieve specified growth goals.
- coordinate outreach/marketing activities with other members of agency to ensure operational units are working in partnership with business development to deliver an excellent customer experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Embody NHCC core values and be an Ambassador to carry out agency mission.
- Provide strategic leadership for the regional NHCC business development function.
- Lead the regional NHCC BD team in achieving targets for each service line.
- Assess the regional market and referral opportunities and establishes a regional strategic marketing plan to support growth of all NHCC’s programs and services.
- Understand for regional territory diverse Referrers Channels, their needs, opportunities, trends impacting their business, challenges and lead BD team in creating win-win solutions, programs and services for various Referral Channels.
- Master Salesforce and monitor daily results of regional team.
- Help recruit, hire and train a high performance business development team.
- Set clear BD metrics to measure individual and team performance and establish reports to demonstrate daily, weekly and monthly results.
- Act as executive liaison for key corporate accounts in identified territory.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts and achieve set targets.
- Supervise Manager of Community Relations and Wellness Liaisons and other community outreach staff to ensure targets are achieved and strong alliances are cultivated with key referral groups, i.e., hospitals, housing, physicians, schools, etc.
- Design and implement new outreach strategies and programs tailored to support NHCC’s new programs as well as support geographic expansion.
- Work with NHCC internal teams to formulate workflows to support new relationships including easy access, simplified intake process, follow up communications and reporting.
- Assist BD team in developing marketing presentations and educational programs for Referrers and clients.
- Make sure BD team has appropriate promotional materials and marketing collateral
- Arrange participation in strategic health fairs and coordinates participation across different business units
- Meet regularly with regional Operations management to ensure business development is working collaboratively to support achievement of operational goals
- Monitor changes in the marketplace and recommends strategic initiatives to improve the Agencies market position.
- Perform all duties inherent in a management role including but not limited to participating in recruitment, hiring, supervision, performance evaluations, training, disciplinary actions and termination
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years in business development with at least 1 year in sales management. Strong oral/written communication, analytical and operational skills required. Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a changing environment and work effectively across different levels of the organization. Access to automobile daily a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
