We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our team in Springfield, MA
. Technicians will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy construction equipment. With a large fleet on road and Heavy Equipment, Mechanics will have the opportunity to work in a team oriented facility, with a competitive salary, paid on-going training, and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is on-site , The ideal Mechanic will possess: 3 to 5+ years of experience with Heavy Equipment Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Hydraulic and Electrical system issues Ability to efficiently utilize computer diagnostic software Ability to complete repairs and maintenance with minimal to no supervision Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with replacing or repairing engine, transmission, driveline, steering, suspension, and fuel system components Compensation: Techs can expect to earn $90,000.00 - $120,000.00/year Paid on-going training/certifications Plenty of OT available (Time and a half after 40 hours/week) Technicians can expect 50 - 60 hours a week (including OT)

Qualifications
Three to Five years of previous heavy equipment
Excellent mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of the following systems: engine, power train, hydraulics and electrical
Possess own tools
A positive attitude and high energy
Must have a clean driving record
Language Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Reasoning Ability - Intermediate: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems and process to obtain solid solution.
Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment: Regularly will work near moving mechanical parts; Frequently will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions; Occasionally will work in wet or humid conditions (non-weather), risk of electrical shock, vibration
