Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pantry Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in catering or restaurant settings.
Duties:
- Prepare and assemble cold food items such as salads, sandwiches, and appetizers and desserts
- Assist with menu planning and contribute to the creation of new dishes
- Ensure adherence to dietary restrictions and special requests
- Maintain a clean and organized pantry area
- Support other kitchen staff as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment including knives
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
