Purpose of Position
This temporary position assists with monthly accounting duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journal entries
Run reports for inventory review
Reallocate purchasing card information
Other projects as assigned

Ability to work independently, under the direction of the Senior Business Analyst, to meet critical deadlines
Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate and work with
campus departments, and full-time finance staff
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
Ability to accurately self-review work
Willingness to learn
Must maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
Minimum Requirements
Have completed or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with a major or minor in Accountancy
Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and TEAMS
Available to work 20-30 hours per week from through August
Successful completion of criminal history records check

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with PeopleSoft Finance and Campus Connection
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with advanced Microsoft Excel, especially functions such as XLOOKUP and pivot tables
Experience working in higher education
Completion of a college level Intermediate Accounting course
