Front Desk Clerk Assistant
JOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of management, the Front Desk Assistant maintains the daily functions of the Mobile Home and RV Park Office. This position is responsible for essential duties of the retail operation and administrative assistant functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to cash handling, light accounting, assisting with new and existing reservations, daily retail sales, and providing guests with excellent customer service via phone, online, and in person. MAJOR DUTIES:
- Greet guests/concierge: provide information to the public by phone, online, and in-person about the facilities, pricing, reservations, programs, and other services. Treat our customers and guests with respect - Be kind, courteous, and knowledgeable
- Take, modify and or cancel reservations. Answer telephone calls, and relay messages efficiently and accurately.
- Receive monies and fees for sites and services, post payments, and issue receipts.
- Ensure guest and resident issues and complaints are resolved promptly and thoroughly
- Seek to improve daily operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Recognize that we represent the Llano Grande Resort to all guests and the public
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations. Good oral and written communication skills. Proficient in operating a computer, facsimile machine, copier, calculator, and other retail/office equipment
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal relations, a problem solver with the ability to own and manage all assigned tasks, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Some college experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Rent Manager experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of POS software and facility rental/reservation software is strongly preferred, but not required
- Pleasant phone voice, excellent phone skills, professional appearance, and demeanor required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
- Familiarity with the RV industry is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
