Primary Purpose
Responsible for providing caregiver education and support that will empower caregivers to be the first and foremost teacher for their child(ren) in their home environment.
Essential Duties
● Work with TTM teaching teams to identify and refer enrolled caregivers to the caregiver education program;
● Coordinate monthly visits at designated TTM preschool sites to recruit families and provide engaging caregiver/ keiki activities that promote teaching philosophies from the TTM caregiver education curriculum;
● Work with the TTM Assessment Specialists to provide wrap-around caregiver support, assistance with community resources and participation in caregiver/keiki assessments;
● Schedule and facilitate individual and small group virtual caregiver education sessions using the TTM caregiver education curriculum;
● Assist in coordinating quarterly in-person caregiver/keiki social gatherings in the local community;
● Obtain and maintain records of families and track their progress.
Other Duties
Includes, but not limited to, completing all forms and documentation such as reports related to grant objectives, professional development evaluations, and daily logs.
Work Hours
● 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or as otherwise determined by the supervisor;
● Position requires regular and predictable attendance;
● Some events on nights or weekends at various times depending on the event.
Working Conditions
● Office setting;
● Travel in personal vehicle to and from home visits and TTM preschool sites;
●Travel to the neighbor islands and the continental U.S. may be required.
Equipment Use
May include use of: program and/or personal vehicle, computer, laptop, laminator, Cricut, copier, video and camera equipment, speaker system, work cell phones/bluetooth devices.

Physical:
● Requires lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds regularly;
● Must be able to sit and work on the floor; kneel and bend.
Communication:
● Must exhibit courteous and professional demeanor towards program participants, vendors and partners, staff and administration via verbal, written, physical, and electronic correspondence;
● Requires good oral and written communication skills;
● Must be comfortable communicating in large groups and approaching caregivers at TTM preschool sites;
● Must be able to teach in both a group and individual setting (virtually and in person);
● Must be able to handle and maintain highly confidential information.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Required:
● Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related human service field and one (1) year of experience working with families and young keiki;
● Must have high-speed internet and phone connection;
● Proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint, Google Drive (Meetings, Docs, Sheets, Calendar), email, internet research, and virtual meeting and/or teaching platforms;
● Must have access to a vehicle, have a valid driver's license, a safe and responsible driving record, and current no-fault auto insurance, with at least $100k in bodily collision per person and $25k in property damage.
Preferred:
● Knowledge of Hawaiian Culture.
