Dean’s Professional Services has partnered with Boston Scientific to hire qualified EKG Monitor Techniciansin Houston, TX. This position is responsible for the interpretation and reporting of EKG data received for patients wearing company monitoring devices to assist physicians in diagnosing the patients. EKG certification from a third-party institution is REQUIRED.

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Formal EKG education such as a certificate from a school or third-party certification

PREFERRED:
-
CET (Certified EKG Technician) – offered at some colleges and community colleges
-
CCT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
-
CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
-
One year work experience preferred

REQUIRED:
-
You must be available to work one of the scheduled shifts.
-

New hire training is 6 - 8 weeks long, during the day on weekdays.
Job Responsibilities:
-
Process, analyze, interpret and edit EKG data
-
Collect recordings and patient symptoms as needed
-
Facilitate activation of EMS, if indicated
-
Accurately document actions taken within patient records
-
Facilitate orders for monitors and supplies
-
Obtain patient transmissions and related symptoms
-
Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms/symptoms, and clearly communicate information to appropriate team member

Ensure customer enrollment is entered correctly

Address questions and educate patients, practices, and sales staff

Fax serious and critical reports to practices and hospitals as requested

Retain information that is job specific such as safety regulations and current policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned.

This position is not a temporary or contract opportunity, position is working directly for Boston Scientific upon completion of onboarding. (job is on site)

Shifts available:
-
Day shift: 7:00am-5:30pm or 9:00am-7:30pm
-
Night shift: 6:00pm-4:30am or 9:00pm - 7:30am (+10% shift differential)

Salary: starting at $18/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Benefits offered: Medical, holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation/sick pay, career progression plan and many other benefits
Bonus: Certification bonus available: CCT certification-acquired within 1 year of hire-$2,000 paid out at 1 year with $1/hr increase in pay rate when certification received; If acquire a CRT certification within 1 year of hire- $500 bonus paid out at 1 year and $.50/hr increase in pay rate when certification received.
