The Department of Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting at NYU College of Dentistry is seeking qualified and dedicated adjunct clinical instructors to guide dental assisting students in developing the necessary knowledge and skills needed to assist dental students and residents as they provide care to a diverse patient population. Clinical instructors are responsible for providing hands-on instruction and support in clinical and/or pre-clinical and laboratory courses.
The Dental Assisting Certificate Program (DACP) is a 6-month, full-time, tuition free program designed to provide highly motivated unemployed or underemployed individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to obtain employment as a dental assistant, and begin a career in the dental profession. Upon graduation, students receive a Certificate in Dental Assisting.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate salary range for this position is $30-$40. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
