Responsibilities and duties include:
Social Media Management - (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest)
We are looking for an upbeat, creative, witty and personable go-getter with experience in creating and editing authentic, candid, on-brand video for social media. Someone with great storytelling skills who can produce videos of the Fishe team, Ambassadors, apparel try-ons, in-store interviews, product reviews, fishing trips on the water, etc.
Even if you haven’t worked specifically in a social media role, but have a public Instagram or TikTok, are an aspiring UGC content creator, or someone who’s built their own community online, please apply! Bonus points if you can share links to your social accounts and/or portfolio of work. We’d love to see the way you show up and how you build an engaged audience.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Daily content creation for focused brand social channels (IG, TikTok, Facebook etc.)
- Create and maintain a robust social calendar and schedule postings in applications such as LATER or Creator Studio.
- Inform and create content that speaks to key moments in the Fishe story and culture while ensuring optimal execution of platform features (sounds, hashtags, filters, etc) and best practices
- Coordinate and communicate with Ambassadors showcasing their unique identity and affiliation with the Fishe brand
- Working with our internal team to see concepts through from idea to produced piece of content
- Have a thorough understanding of the Fishe brand story and the social strategy and how it plays out in your day to day role
Requirements
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Serial social media user who can show a deep understanding of key platforms
- Ability to work autonomously in an organized fashion and handle several projects at once.
- Experience with hands on content creation personally or for a brand
- Experience creating social media calendars that align with companies promotions, advertising and marketing campaigns.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Bridge, Adobe Creative Cloud or other graphic design/video editing technology is strongly preferred.
- Expertise working with gathering UGC, bulk resizing of images, renaming files and file management of creative assets.
- Ability to create and deliver brand-centric creative content (text, image and video).
- A passion for the outdoors, fitness, fishing and active lifestyle.
A major plus is someone who fly fishes in their free time and is authentically outdoorsy.
