Job Description: Front of House Service Worker
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Evening Closer to join our team at Kirkland Bakery. This position is essential to ensuring our bakery is clean, organized, and ready for the next day. The Evening Closer will handle a variety of tasks that are crucial for maintaining a hygienic and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize the bakery, including all kitchen and front-of-house areas.
- Mop floors and ensure all surfaces are free of debris.
- Transfer food into appropriately sized storage containers and label them.
- Sweep and clean behind heavy tables, large refrigerators, and other equipment.
- Clean and maintain drains, hoods, and other kitchen appliances.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and baking tools.
- Clean and restock bathrooms, ensuring they meet our hygiene standards.
- Dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule with availability for evening shifts.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**Physical Demands:**
- Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of objects up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
